David and I have been trying to be more active this year, we entered a challenge with a group of friends and collected points for eating healthy, exercising and adding other good habits for twelve weeks. One of bonus opportunities was to run a 5k, so we did and of course David showed me up big time, but we had fun anyway. Also, throughout the challenge, David helped cooked healthy meals, do aerobics at home with me, play soccer with the kids etc... it was fun planning more physical activities as a family.

For Valentine's Day, the girls and I made a different kind of Valentine for daddy. We sported them all day, and David loved every minute of it! My friend made one for her husband last year and I thought it was a super cute idea! She will be moving here soon and I am sad to see my creativity (b/c it is almost always an imitation of something she's done) go!
We always love February b/c it is fun to write little love notes! The girls sent their Daddy on a scavenger hunt to find his Valentine. They thought it was the coolest thing ever. David and I also love February b/c we get to celebrate our anniversary. This year marked 7 years together! Crazy?!

We were able to avoid most colds this year, but we all got hit hard for one week and my kids discovered our bed to be fun place to chill and read... reading is currently their favorite past time.

Since we showed Jeana's cute cut, we MUST include Abby's however, this is my daughter with many more opinions, so of course, she wouldn't let me cut too much off.
HAIRCUTS...
(Okay, actually I was doing it partly to make her hair look
thicker and hopefully be longer in time for summer.)
So, to get the full effect, you must view from all angles.
And of course, yet another view...what a cutie! I even straightened it today and it too looked cute! I should go pro.

*We had a couple of really good storms this year, several snow days and lots of hot chocolate! *Luckily, we did get new windows before the harshest of winter and they have made a big difference... little did I know the windows would also save me from a snowball fight too!
*I think that little sisters are good at kicking big sister when they are down, however, in this case, it is snowballing when down. *Over all, Abby's expression, describes my feelings/love for winter.
